I’m roped into ZOMBIE SNUFF MOVIES! Posted on May 12, 20131 Comment

I was delighted when emerging film-maker Peter Thorndike offered me a role in his upcoming comedy horror ZOMBIE SNUFF MOVIES! The woman above is model/actress Monica Harris.

I love anything and everything to do with horror; death, gore, cutting, chopping, disembowelling etc (only in movies, obviously!). You can imagine how thrilled I was! So I immediately said YES.

The fact that I am paired opposite seductive glamour model & actress Monica Harris is the icing on the cake! Monica has appeared in Playboy, FHM, Loaded, Maxim, Nuts, Zoo, 100% Biker and Marquis. She is a presenter for Extreme Brawl and Nite Life TV. Her acting credits include Eastenders, The Bill and  Come Fly With Me, to name a few.

Monica is also the founder of Models Fight UK which supports the Katie Piper Foundation in their efforts to help victims of horrific burns get their lives back on track. I’m not allowed to talk about our roles in the film, but I’ll say our scenes are going to be sexy, funny and a bit disturbing as well.

ZOMBIE SNUFF MOVIES is an exciting new British zombie comedy feature film, in the exuberantly gross manner of the original EVIL DEAD. Zombie movies have always enjoyed immense popularity and falls into the horror category, so fingers crossed, our film would become a big hit! (Cont..)

Our film features a wealth of British talent: Martha Grace (from the Steve Coogan film THE LOOK OF LOVE), Meaghan O’Neill (LES MISERABLES and the Dakota Fanning film, NOW IS GOOD). Chloe Williams (RUSH), Alice Bol &  Mike Collins (COCKNEYS VS ZOMBIES), Christopher George (ZOMBIE DIARIES 2) and Charlotte Talbot (from Hammer Horror‘s BEYOND THE RAVE).

The writer & director, Peter Thorndike, is a graduate of the Arts University College, Bournemouth, and studied on the same film course as Simon Beaufoy (SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRETHE FULL MONTY). The AUCB has won myriad awards for its Special Effects, and this is also where Peter honed his aptitude for latex special effects, which you will see when the film is out! (Cont..)

Did you know?

The outraged father of one of the actresses who auditioned for a part in ZOMBIE SNUFF MOVIES has prohibited his daughter from appearing in the film because of its disturbing, graphic & blasphemous content. The guy was very annoyed!

While doing this blog post, I got distractedly sidetracked by Monica Harris‘ pictures on the internet. I oggled at them in the name of “research!” If the detectives in Cold Case can do that, then why can’t I? Scroll down to see more fab photos of Monica (contains some nudity but very tastefully shot! ;).

Peter Thorndike‘s previous script was optioned by Paramount Pictures, and Winona Ryder expressed interest. This bigger budget project is on hold due to an unforeseen glitch.

Over 45 actresses applied for the casting call within 3 hours of it being posted on Demus Casting. Peter picked Monica as I pestered him to hire the  sexiest, hottest & most seductive temptress-looking glamazon (with strong personality, oozing of raw sexuality!) to play my lust interest!

Apparently a few other actors had expressed interest in my role. But Peter thinks I’d be good at it… and I absolutely love the script. My role is brief but important! But isn’t that what all actors say?

Make up artist & hair stylist (my friend!) Jasmine Cargill will be working with us on set, next month.

Dumar by Aaron Thomas (Fruit District Films), the film that marked my acting debut, is scheduled for a September 2013 release!
