My friend Joanna Caveney and I decided to have a good-bye dinner for our friend Heiner Radau before he left for Germany. He had just completed his internship at Alexander McQueen and is all set to work on his own brand.

I made seafood stir fry with prawns, scallops, couscous, tomato, olive oil, chopped vegetables, turmeric, garlic, onion and chilly seeds.
Prawns taste amazing when cooked for 5 minutes in olive oil and turmeric! Just writing this blog post makes my mouth water. Maybe I should have saved some to eat right now!
I rarely cook to be honest. I am way too busy and also a bit lazy. But isn’t it nice to see friends and loved ones enjoying the food you’ve cooked? I sometimes cook an amazing dish and eat it all by myself. People say white wine goes with seafood. But I think spicy seafood with amazing rice is best washed down with a mellow merlot!
Did you know?
Heiner Radau was a child actor in German film and television before he went into fashion design and textiles.
Joanna, her mum Pauline, Heiner and Pat were some of my closest friends that helped me through my severe bouts of depression in the last 3 months.
I am not allergic to anything. Therefore, I can eat anything I want!
